APRES SKI
Bormio is very know for the quality of its bars and pubs where you can taste the delicious wines (Sassella, Inferno etc.) and taste the typical appetizers served with your order and free of charge (Small sandwiches, cheese, salami, etc…). There is no other resort in Italy where the après ski is associate with the good quality and relaxing atmosphere of a charming and comfortable wood carved bar.
The town will not shut down at night, but people will be relaxing in the laidback atmosphere.
Do not worry! Party animals may find the nightlife a bit lacking, but that said, there is still plenty to do on an evening out on the town. As an inexpensive place to go out, one can start from Via Roma and try the myriad of bars and pubs where skiers and locals hang out together.
Bormio's reputation for great nightlife has more to do with the atmosphere and attitude of the area than the number of bars and pubs. Along with the wild-and-crazy Italians you're bound to meet.
The Night Clubs are the upscale nightspots. The action inside doesn't start un-til after 11 p.m. Expect to pay a cover (it varies de-pending on the entertainment) and about €8 for a mixed drink. There are bars, live bands and plenty of overstuffed couches and tucked-away alcoves for a break from the dancing.
Après-ski has to be wit-nessed to be understood. In Bormio you can easily accommodate  your taste: you can see Italians dancing the can-can to “New York, New York,” stacked three on top of one an-other and swaying like demented totem poles.
SHOPPING
There are 150 elegant shops and boutiques stocked with the latest Italian fashion: shoes, clothing, jewels, antiques, art galleries, high quality local handicraft works; in a word, the best. 
Via Roma, the heart of Bormio, has been a pedestrian street for 40 years now. In summer and winter late afternoons it is busy with visitors strolling up and down to have a look at the very elegant shop windows. There is always the chance to meet the very important guests of Bormio. There is a wide selection of articles and for the convenience of finding almost everything within a short walk.
SKI AND SNOWBOARD SCHOOLS
Private lessons and group lessons are available and go from the No matter if you are a beginner or an advanced skier! If you want to improve your ability you are in the right place. The instructors are nice and helpful and you will enjoy a skiing day without pressure and you will feel treated like a friend with the same care.
Federal Trainers teach the advanced skiers so their classes will be more professional. Instructors will speak English.
Snowboarding lessons are extremely great. The quality of the instructors is very high and their patience is extremely appreciated by the skiers.

SKI RENTAL
Since the ability of most of the Bormio Skiers is high we also need a good assortment of equipment rental which is really excellent in Bormio.
Among all we have always equipped our staff at the rental called “Bormio Ski & Bike”. Here, there is equipment available to all levels. This place also offers sometimes demo-skis at a multi-day or seasonal discount where different skis can be tried out each day.
The best idea is to rent equipment the night before to avoid a long wait or hassle in the morning. Only “Bormio Ski & Bike” rental will give a lot of leeway in the pickup and return times of the rentals. Giovanni, the owner, is also an official ski instructor. He is really a friend and we hope you will have the chance to meet him directly, he is really a nice guy!
At his shop (which is strategically located right up the main cable car!) you can find the latest models of carving and deep-snow skis. Rental prices are about the same as other resort, or maybe even lower.
