More than 50 kilometres of slopes and 16 skilifts with a capacity of 14.000 persons/hour live up to most skiers'expectations.
The slope"Stelvio", with its more than 4 kilometers, is considered to be ideal for the annual men's downhill race.
The slopes"Valbella"and"Betulle"enjoy a great reputation among those who prefer difficult slopes. All those who prefer to take it easy, and to enjoy the scenery while skiing will find the right place on the slope"Bimbi al sole", which is almost 6 kilometres long.
Even for beginners there is a lot of choices. Easy slopes are found up on the mountain as well as down in the valley.

Santa Caterina
Good snow is the keyword in the traditional Italian resort of Santa Caterina. Because of its north facing slopes it is holds its snow very well, even better than nearby Bormio; only 10km away.
Beginners will like the ski school and the good nursery runs. They may also be slightly daunted by the abundance of reds and blacks.
There is a chairlift down from mid station but the lack of easy long runs to progress to may trouble some beginners.
Intermediates will love the challenging long red runs and experts will be able to enjoy the blacks to their hearts content- as well as some stunning through the trees skiing.

San Colombano & Cima Piazzi Trail info (Valdidentro)
The skiing-mountain San Colombano hosts the slopes of the Valdidentro, which are in a very sunny position and connect to the Valdisotto (Oga). Offering a great panoramic alpine view, these sunny slopes invite to enjoy and ski. San Colombano offers 30 kilometres of slopes and 10 skilifts.
The ski area is made for skiers who are in search of thrills on the black piste or for those who just want to let themselves go with their skis on wide easy courses and at the same time enjoy the sun and the bracing mountain air.
