Giardini di Venere
A regenerating outdoor course. Alternating immersion in hot thermal water with sunbathing in the crisp mountain air stretched out on the comfortable dormeuses placed around the large open air solarium area, flooded with sunlight from the first rays of dawn until sunset even in Winter.
Vasche di Saturno: an open air toning course composed of two rectangular pools with music therapy, connected to a further semicircular pool below that has a high intensity waterfall flowing into it for a regenerating hydro massage.
Fanghi di Diana: a pool for the natural peeling of the skin by mud (sulphur bacteria in suspension) of which the water of Bormio is rich in.
Baita delle vestali: a characteristic log cabin, on the edge of the forest in accordance with Nordic tradition, to rest and relax for a few moments while the mud takes its affect on the skin, then take a hot shower on the outside of the cabin.
Vasche delle muse: two wooden open air pools, an original part of the thermal building, fed by a small cascading waterfall for a pleasant hydro-massage on the back and shoulders. One of these, as was used in the ancient orient, is enriched with rose-petals to give the skin a velvety smoothness.
Vasca di Aurora: Open air pool. Lay down at the water’s edge to benefit simultaneously from the effects of the thermal water and the warm rays of the sun.
Open air pool Piscina di Venere: a relaxing bathe in warm water of 38°, with views over the mountains that circle the Resort. The open air pool, facing directly south and in full sun even on the coldest days, is subdivided into two connecting areas, alternating still water and strong hydro-massage, for a total of 110m sq.
Solarium: a garden exposed completely to the south, bathed in sun from the first light in the morning until sunset, ideal for alternating the open air thermal baths with sun-bathing.
Grotta di Nettuno
A subterranean tunnel which connects the Liberty wing of the Grand Hotel and the open air pool. A detoxifying course has been set up, enriched by facilities which improve the body’s circulation and a complete epidermal cleansing.
Antro della sibilla (Vichy shower): lay down under a light rain of thermal water for a soft and tender massage.
Conciglio degli Dei: a circular bath with cromotherapy and relaxing music for a pleasant break seated on the concentric steps that surround the bath.
Sauna di Minerva: rose scented sauna that has softeting effects and renders the skin more elastic and velvety, leaving a delicate and charming perfume on it.
Diluvio degli dei (Scotish shower): an invigorating shower after the sauna, following ancient Nordic traditions.
Diamanti degli dei: an ice cascade for a refreshing massage to the whole body that in combination with the other thermal facilities tones and renders the skin smooth.
Sentiero di Mercurio (Kneipp course): reflexology corse on a floor covered with pebbles, alternating hot and cold water. Father Sebastian Kneipp in the 1800’s theorized hydrotherapy using controlled and alternating hot and cold temperature. At the Bagni di Bormio this treatment is enriched with the chemical properties of the thermal waters.
Soffioni di Eolo: high intensity wall hydro jets for the progressif reactivating of the body circulation, enhancing the complete opening of the pores.
Bagni di Giove
Bagni di Giove: revitalizing hydrotherapy section, situated in the basement of the Hotel.

Sauna di Vesta: spices and fruit scented biologic sauna for the wellbeing of all senses.
Vasca di Giunone: immersion, even partial, in cold water to restore the body’s temperature after the vigorous action of the hydrojets and waterfall, the sauna and the turkish bath. The bath in pink marble from Candoglia has belonged to the original hot springs structure at Bagni Nuovi since 1845. At that time the guests used to lie in the bath while servants were pouring hot spring water from a pitcher directly on the body.
Riposo di Marte: still water bath for balancing the body’s equilibrium after the contrast of hot and cold water. The sulphur bacteria (natural suspended mud) which Bormio’s waters are rich in continue the process of the natural exfoliation that renders the skin smooth and soft.

Relax degli dei: a room for relax stretched out on the comfortable dormeuses and wrapped in warm blankets, savouring the scents of the National Park Stelvio.

Bagni di Ercole
A relaxing indoor section offering facilities which favour the combination and organisation of various thermal activities. At set times the sauna instructor presides over activities for psychophysical improvement.
Sala del braciere (brazier room): a spacious area for relaxation and thermal workshops featuring a modern suspended brazier inside a panoramic lounge, overlooking Giardini di Venere and the Stelvio Park.
