APRES SKI
If you are looking for variety in your apres-ski, Cortina is the place to be. Beginning with an evening stroll along the pedestrian corridor, you can try the delicious northern Italian regional fare at one of the many restaurants. Most of the restaurants are casual, but you may find that the vacationing Italians view dinner as a dress-up affair. There are other types of food available, but the choices are pretty limited.
Most of the clubs in Cortina do not open until 11:00 p.m. and go well into the morning. There are quieter establishments that include wine bars or piano bars for those who don't want to party until they drop.
Although there is a cinema here, the movies are shown twice a day and are dubbed in Italian, so be prepared to read the subtitles.
SHOPPING
There are 250 elegant shops and boutiques stocked with the latest Italian fashion: shoes, clothing, jewels, antiques, art galleries, high quality local handicraft works; in a word, the best. 
Corso Italia, the heart of Cortina, has been a pedestrian street for 20 years now. In summer and winter late afternoons it is busy with visitors strolling up and down to have a look at the very elegant shop windows. There is always the chance to meet the very important guests of Cortina. Many guests choose Cortina for their shopping both for the wide selection of articles and for the convenience of finding almost everything within a short walk.
SKI AND SNOWBOARD SCHOOLS
Private lessons and group lessons are available and go from the No matter if you are a beginner or an advanced skier! If you want to improve your ability you are in the right place. The instructors are nice and helpful and you will enjoy a skiing day without pressure and you will feel treated like a friend with the same care.
Federal Trainers teach the advanced skiers so their classes will be more professional. Instructors will speak English.
Snowboarding lessons are extremely great. The quality of the instructors is very high and their patience is extremely appreciated by the skiers.

SKI RENTAL
Since the ability of most of the Cortina Skiers is high we also need a good assortment of equipment rental which is really excellent in Bormio.
Among all we have always equipped our staff at the rental called “Ski Man Service”. Here, there is equipment available to all levels. This place also offers sometimes demo-skis at a multi-day or seasonal discount where different skis can be tried out each day.
The best idea is to rent equipment the night before to avoid a long wait or hassle in the morning. Only “Ski Man Service” rental will give a lot of leeway in the pickup and return times of the rentals. Igor, the owner, is also an official ski instructor. He is really a friend and we hope you will have the chance to meet him directly, he is really a nice guy!
At his shop (which is strategically located right down the Faloria cable car!) you can find the latest models of carving and deep-snow skis. Rental prices are about the same as other resort, or maybe even lower.
