About Cortina

A Cortina Italy ski holiday offers you an extensive and varied resort in the heart of Italy’s Ampezzo valley. Also known as the Pearl of the Dolomites, a ski holiday to Cortina is a great choice for skiers and non skiers alike.
Cortina is a world-famous, international standard Italy ski resort and was home to the very first Winter Olympics in Italy. Partly thanks to this, a Cortina ski Trip is typified by a chic yet relaxed ambience. There are plenty of non-ski activities, with bobsleighs available for the daredevils and tobogganing, dog sledging and ice-skating on offer for the less extreme members of the party. In the day, Cortina boasts an array of elegant boutiques and quaint mountain restaurants, whilst at night there are an abundance of trendy, intimate bars, restaurants and wine bars.
A free Cortina ski shuttle bus is serving all its visitors and the town offers many ski shops (that do rentals and will do overnight storage).
The Cortina ski slopes themselves are fabulously maintained with full grooming every night.
One real positive is the slopes are excellently designed – You will not have occasions that any of you (including children and senior skiers) will have to pole along to get through a flat zone.
