Cortina ski resort

The Cortina ski resort itself is not the biggest in Italy but its landscapes and the breathtaking views are something you have to experience and will balance with the size of the ski terrain. It boasts magnificent peaks and spectacular slopes, all of which are guaranteed to be perfectly maintained thanks to the superb and widely available snow making facilities.
Part of the Dolomiti Superski (Lift system organization) area offering 1,220km of snow trails, skiing in Cortina has plenty of appeal for all grades of skier. With wonderfully uncrowded slopes, except for on holidays, beginners can learn to ski on the Socrepes area’s nursery slopes – where a fantastic ski school is based. In fact, more than 50% of the runs are categorized as ‘easy’, making Cortina the perfect place to improve your skiing.
We suggest skiing Cortina also because it is an excellent choice for intermediate level skiers. A large choice of blue and red runs are available. Snowboarding and skiing Cortina is equally rewarding - with the natural terrain features combined with a dedicated fun park and half-pipe being enough to satisfy most tastes.
